We went for a walk in the woodland on Tuesday evening. In the half-hour we were there, I managed to photograph six or eight different wildflowers -- all of which I think I have previously written about on TarvinOnLine! Daisies, Dandelions, Cowslips, Primroses, Wood Anemones and Snake's Head Fritillaries. We didn't spot the little violets but I know they are out somewhere in the woods.
There are more species to see later in the year, the bluebells are looking abundant and the delightful pink honesty will be putting on a show soon.
We are so fortunate in Tarvin to have such a delightful and sensitively managed place to walk in, see wildflowers and also to listen to and see a wide variety of birds. "See how many wildflowers you can see if you go for a walk in the woodland!".
